WNBA rookie Olivia Miles’ eyewear collaboration is trending

Over the past few years, female athletes have enjoyed increasing commercial opportunities. In the past, only a fortunate few Women’s National Basketball Association (WNBA) players had endorsements or appearances for brands, but that has changed. In a growing number of cases, the products involved are genuine reflections of the athletes. That is certainly the case for the likely WNBA 2026 Rookie of the Year Olivia Miles, who recently announced a collaboration with GlassesUSA.com, an online eyewear company.

“Glasses have always been part of who I am, on and off the court, so this collaboration with GlassesUSA.com feels really personal to me,” said Miles, who has resisted suggestions to either wear contact lenses or have corrective surgery. “It’s about trusting your instincts, owning what makes you different, and feeling confident in the way you show up.”

The “Trust Your Vision” eyewear collection includes a variety of looks that Miles has worn off the court and includes goggles like what she wears in games. For GlassesUSA.com, working with Miles is a major step in expanding the company’s presence in sports eyewear and prescription performance eyewear.

“We have been following Olivia’s journey for quite some time,” said Arie Tom, chief marketing officer of GlassesUSA.com. “What really stood out to us is how naturally eyewear was already part of her identity. Her goggles weren’t something created for a campaign; they were something she genuinely needed and wore. Over time, they became part of how people recognized her, part of her identity.”

The partnership felt like a natural fit, Tom noted, not just a traditional celebrity endorsement. “It was all about authenticity,” he said. “We didn’t have to create a story. We relate to Olivia and her relationship with glasses … For the collection, she chose the glasses that felt authentic to her.”

The collection was built around Miles’s style and personal choices, including the prescription-ready sports goggles. She has worn something like this throughout her college career at Notre Dame and TCU, and now in the WNBA. It has already become evident that young athletes who wear glasses on their respective fields of play see her as a role model.

The company previously worked with NFL player Von Miller; Miles is their first female athlete collaboration. “These are the stories we’re looking for,” said Tom. “Women’s sports are creating an incredible cultural moment.”
